Is your child nervous, stressed, struggling?
Healthy Happy Minds is a group that meets after school which integrates activities for your child designed to:
- Improve focus
- Improve grades
- Decrease stress
- Improve emotional regulation
- Increase compassion
- Increase conflict-resolution skills
- Improve self-esteem
- Decrease anxiety
The group format will also create an environment that can help improve your child’s self-worth and self-confidence as well as provide a setting to develop interpersonal skills such as communication and cooperation. With mindfulness practices, as well as cognitive behavioral therapy-based strategies, your child will begin to learn to take ownership of his/her own well-being. They can work on recognizing when they are anxious, depressed, angry, or overwhelmed, and express this in appropriate ways.
